About Burlingham Books
It's the computer age - are books on the way out? It doesn't seem so. There's something about holding a book, whether a beloved childhood favorite or the latest bestseller, that is a direct, personal experience that so far no e-reader can provide. There's even that smell of books, new and old, that some of us love. But most of all, it's the ideas. We always need places where ideas can come together, be shared, aired, and exchanged. A bookstore is the place we've made.
We have a full coffee bar with espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, frappes, teas and smoothies. New gifts, from journals to jewelry and kids crafts to card games. Magazines alternative and mainstream. Newspapers from independent Perry publishers to The New York Times. Not to mention over 10,000 books new and used.
